About this update:
These files use kernel zImage6_b by Newbie16 and the default.txt setting pm.sleep_mode=1.
This kernel will make your device sleep almost immediately after pressing END/power. You will need to use the power button to wake the device. Great news: I've gotten over 16 hours of battery life with medium use.
